My idea is to create a robot that is shaped like a human and that has a human face. By Facetiming timing your friend and attaching the device to the robots face. It can hold things and more. The reason i thought of this invention is to make people feel like they are actually sitting with someone they miss, and yes, i know that it still won't exactly feel like sitting with the actual person, but you will feel like you're having fun.
